Stingers are very easy to use and, depending on how hard you swing them, can be anywhere from quite mild to wickedly painful. They are also relatively quiet.

They consist of a wide or narrow handle (vegan friendly!), and a flexible shaft with a weight at the end so they're kind of like a flail. They're about 19 inches long.

The shaft and the weight have been dipped in plastic, which makes them easy to clean and disinfect.

The guy who made them has since passed away and these are the only ones left that haven't yet found permanent homes.

Pick one up while you can because when they're gone, they're gone!
