With the incredibly able assistance of several amazing people, my new DVD -- "Tight Immobilizing Bondage" -- is now out and, candidly, I'm pretty darned proud of it. It's a basic-to-intermediate rope bondage how-to DVD with a running time of just a bit over two hours and twenty minutes.
As tends to be the case with my work, it's an "absolutely no previous knowledge required" item. It assumes that the viewer knows absolutely nothing about either BDSM in general or about rope bondage in particular. (My rule for putting out products is: Would I give this product to my daughter and her boyfriend and feel OK if they acted on the contents with no other outside information? In this case, yep, I sure would.)
Please permit me to say that it looks, IMO, pretty darn snazzy. Folks, this was a LOT of work -- much more than I anticipated -- but I'm really proud of and happy with the final result. I think it will be an especially valuable resource for people wishing to explore bondage.
In many respects, this video is an enriched, expanded version of the presentation of a program that I have presented several times to BDSM groups.
OK, time for some juicy details. [grin] Topics covered include:
General BDSM principles, including consent and safe words.
Pre-bondage discussion and negotiation.
Major safety precautions, including levels of monitoring and how to evaluate tightness.
Choosing ropes: lengths, width, and type.
Basic knots, and a few advanced ones whose use can be wicked fun.
Single-limb (aka single-column) rope cuffs from basic to stringent
Double-limb (aka two-column) rope cuffs from basic to stringent
Arm harnesses for any and all body sizes.
Immobilizing ties, including special techniques for tying ankles, knees, and elbows.
Numerous hogties (learn my new Hogtie Harness!) including the V-hogties and the winched-ankle hogtie.
There is some nudity and, of course, some bondage, but no explicit sex or heavy SM. Actually, overall the video is very similar to what you might see if you attended a typical BDSM educational presentation.
